In the world, people know least 150 dog breeds that is plentiful. At first humans think dogs are wild. The ancestor of the dog is not the wolf. However, after many years research people know the ancestor of the dog is the wolf because they wolf and dag have the same DNA. “Wolves arose in the middle of the great Ice Age about 1 million years ago from a lineage of smaller dog-like forms native to Eurasia” (Facts About Wolves Of The Rocky Mountains, n.d.). Thus, we can be sure a that as there were wolves first and then there were dogs. To the modern day, people define dog wild dogs and domestic dogs. Nonetheless, both wild dogs and domestic dogs possess strong social skills, but they are different in that domestic dogs can perform professional work, and have good character.

First, wild dogs and domestic dogs social skills very stronger. They are all ancestors of wolves that are animalof the group. “Dogs are highly social animals and are well adapted to living in groups. Studies have also shown that they are very good at interpreting human gestures and behavior.” (Landsberg, 2018, para1). Thus, the dogs not only understand similar animals who can understand trusted people. As a result, the domestic dog is a popular animal now because it can understand human emotion. Like wild dogs protecting their companions. Thus, domestic dog dogs and wild dogs have the same social skills. No more than wild dogs protect their kind, while domestic dogs protect their owners and the humans they trust.

In addition, Domestic dogs can perform professional work. When people go to the hospital, nursing home, or police station, people will see a lot of professional dogs. Professional dogs can help with human herding, guarding, and hunting that support life for humans. Domestic dogs have accompanied humans from thousands of years ago to modern times, so the domestic dogs DNA is believed human. Relatively speaking, if a dog trainer trains domestic dogs, the dog trainer can understand the domestic dog’s habits, personalities, and diet who is very easy. However, why wild dogs can’t become professional dogs because wild dogs have savagery. Wild dog doesn’t trust humans. They just believe in the same type of animal. Thus, they don’t trust humans. “Wild dogs can be adorable sometimes, but make no mistake: They can never, ever be domesticated into house pets. A recent study found that even though wild dogs raised by humans can feel bonded to people, they can’t become truly domesticated.” (Roberts, n.d. para 6). That’s why feral dogs can’t become professionally trained dogs because they don’t trust humans. Feral dogs are very dangerous to humans. However, a domestic dog can be trained because it has chosen to trust humans.

Finally, domestic dogs have better personalities than wild dogs. The domestic dog has changed from thousands of years ago to the present. The personality of the domestic dog has changed to become like that human. “No matter what their home situation or lifestyle, every person will want to choose a friendly dog to own, but when it comes to a family dog they need to be openly affectionate.” (Kennelstore, n.d. para 8). Therefore. domestic dogs have a very gentle nature. And after a long time with humans. They will know the mood of humans through their eyes, bodies, and voice. “Researchers found that by combining information from different senses dogs form abstract mental representations of positive and negative emotional states in people” (Stock, 2016, para 3). On the contrary, wild dogs are very aggressive in nature because they need to protect themselves in the wild. Thus, wild dogs are not suitable for human beings and they can only live with their kind.
To sum up, although wild dogs and domestic dogs have strong social skills, domestic dogs can work professionally and have good personalities. Domestic dogs are good at helping people. Domestic dogs are suited to help people with their lives. They can adapt perfectly to the human world. However, wild dogs are suited to live in the wild because they have original instincts. Wild dogs can be the kings of the wild.
